What is comparable property being asked for?
Describe a property and we will show you what comparable property is currently advertised at in that area — the middle of the market and the range around it.
This is not a valuation. It tells you what similar property
is being asked for today. It does not tell you what your property is worth, what it
would fetch, or what anything has sold for — we cannot measure achieved prices and will not
pretend otherwise. Treat it as context before a conversation with a valuer, not instead of
one.
The fortnightly index
We do not sell property, we do not list it, and we do not introduce buyers to agents. What we do is measure what this market is asking, and publish it. If you would like the index every two weeks — what moved in your area and what came down — leave an email and we will send it.
